A scary moment horse owners may come across is when they experience their horse choking. Whenever faced with this, owners should immediately remove all food and water from the horse and contact their veterinarian. In this week's podcast we discuss what happens when a horse chokes and how owners should respond. We also discuss the types of feed a horse may choke on. Then we discuss some tips and strategies on limiting a horse's chance of choking and how they can be better managed.
